Ian Ritchie's SOHO Project - UK/SK/CZ

For over 30 years a phenomenal saxophonist Ian Ritchie has been making music on stage and in the studio with an array of well known figures. He has produced records for Roger Waters, Pete Wylie, Laurie Anderson and The Big Dish. Ian plays saxophones and flutes in a range of styles and is equally at home playing solos from "The Dark Side Of The Moon" and "Wish You Were Here" with Roger Waters, ambient free improvisations with URUBU, jazz with his own SOHO Project and Ian Ritchie Allstars and rock n' roll with legendary band Deaf School.The first album "Ian Ritchie's SOHO Project" took it's inspiration from the streets and places in Soho, London. "South of Houston" takes it's titles from the streets of SoHo, New York City. The songs explore rhythms less common in jazz including reggae, hip hop and funk as well as a smattering of swing. Being a member of Roger Waters band, Ian also plays during his SOHO concerts some of the Pink Floyd classics in jazz arrangements. After a very successful SOHO tour in spring 2014 in the Czech Republic and Slovakia including playing in famous clubs such as Jazz Dock or Blue Note, Ian and his band also performed as one of the headliners of South Bohemia Jazz Festival alongside Richard Bona and Dave Douglas Quintet.

An outstanding London pianist Harry Waters plays in his band with another top jazz musicians like famous saxophone players Brandon Allen and Ian Ritchie, doublebass player Yaron Stavi and drummer Jon Scott.

Famous pianist Harry Waters plays in this project with Czech jazz elite muscians such as Jan Greifoner, Oliver Lipensky or Jan Pospisil.The first time this project appeared on the stage was during two sold out Prague's concerts in spring 2011. Following year this project continued with successful tour counting six gis in the Czech Republic and one in Slovakia.

Gilad Atzmon & The Orient House Ensemble

Phenomenal world-renowned multi-instrumentalist Gilad Atzmon founded in 2000 the band Orient House Ensemble. Virtuoso of wind instruments blends in his work musical influences of the Middle East, North Africa and Eastern Europe. His album called Exile won Album of the Year award from the BBC. Gilad Atzmon, being the star of an international jazz scene performs in his band with bassist Yaron Stavi, pianist Frank Harrison and drummer Eddie Hick.

Bio Illusion - Nazareth - Until We Drop
Director Miloslav Šmídmajer, which last year completed and put into cinemas feature-length documentary about the director Milos Forman, began to shoot music project. It will be a documentary about the legendary rock band Nazareth.

The Wall 2009

November 30, 1979 is the date remembered by all diehard fans of the British Pink Floyd. Their probably the most popular album The Wall was released. 30 years later Filip Benešovský came with this spectacular project that took it's take place in sold out O2 Arena in Prague on October 31. The Wall 2009 was the most ambitious and demanding project appearing on the musical scene of that year. The band numbered about 20 musicians, including modern electric instruments, but also strings and brasses. Another indespensable part of the show was the children choir.Among those who were invited to honour this monumental musical piece you could see these special guests: Michal Malátný (Chinaski), Jan Neckář (Bacily), Zdeněk Kluka a Roman Dragoun (Progres 2), the czech rock guitar star Radim Hladík and pianist Harry Waters.The performance was provided with quadrophone sound rotating round the concert hall, giant bricks, many stage properties, film shots, czech subtitles and numerous dramatic scenes. The arrangement and preparations of the show took several months.

The Wall 2009 – Premiere projection of DVD, 2010

In October 2009 at the sold out O2 arena in Prague Filip Benesovsky and his friends performed phenomenal adaptation of Pink Floyd album. Concert titled The Wall 2009 impressively celebrated thirty years anniversary of releasing this major album of rock history. Exactly one year after the concert there was a premiere projection of DVD from this concert. This event was also a meeting of all people involved in this successful project. The event took place on October 31st, 2010 at famous Prague's venue called Malostranska beseda.

Dark Side of the Moon - Opava, Cinema Mír , 2011

After a three year break, Filip Benesovsky and Kaspar brothers returned with adaptation of the famous Pink Floyd album "Dark Side of the Moon", this time to Cinema Mír in Opava. It was the sixtht performance after successful concerts in Roudnice nad Labem, Pilsen, Zatec and Litomerice.

Dark Side of the Moon - Ice stadium Bílina, 2012

The team of people associated by Benešovský prepared the biggest indoor performance of Dark Side of the Moon in the history of the project. The show took place on the 23rd of March 2012 at the Bílina Ice stadium. Michal Malátný, frontman of famous Czech band Chinaski,  appeared as an exclusive guest. The concert had two parts, the first one was “The Best of Pink Floyd and Roger Waters”. After the intermission, the second part, the entire Dark Side of the Moon followed.

Filip Benešovský

Prague group, named after the semi-legendary Welsh poet, brings a distinctive fusion of music, brillantly combining the influences of traditional music, folk, blues, jazz and rock. Excellent musicians, working also in a number of other succesful projects, allow Taliesyn to realize each song with a different approach, arrangement and feel: from music with roots in the Anglo-American folk, Czech and Moravian folklore, through rock, modern jazz and latin sound, to “simple” song-writing of the Paul Simon, Bert Jansch or Bob Dylan variety.

5. Sázavský koncert 2012

Folk singer and guitarist Vit Sazavsky invited for this year of Sazavsky festival popular young songwriter Tomas Klus who was the headliner ot the evening. Besides Tomas audience could see also Nerez folk band and legendary duo Hana and Petr Ulrych.

4. Sázavský koncert 2011

Sázava city experienced in May veritable feast. On Friday 27 May 2011 were the monastery gardens in Sázava hosting legends of Czech music scene. By the side of Czech folk longest established formations - Spiritual Quintet - was presented another star of folk heaven, Neřež band. The whole evening then concluded actor, director and singer Ondřej Havelka, accompanied by his irreplaceable Melody Makers.
